About the author

My name is Susan and I was born and raised in a small town called Newcastle located an hour east of Toronto, Ontario. I grew up with a love of nature and animals. I have worked for over 15 years in customer service and closely with business owners. My interest has always laid with small businesses. After becoming interested in the internet I naturally wanted to combine the two which found me returning to school.

Recently I graduated from Fleming College with a diploma in Web Development. Already having some experience in web development I look forward to developing more for both small businessess and individuals.

When I am not at the computer designing I can still be found enjoying nature and animals with my family.

About the site

This site is to advertise me as a web designer and showcase my work. It is a redesign of the one I created while still in college. I felt that the old site did not represent me as much as this one does. The header is personal to me, it was inspired by my love of horses especially my old horse CK's Pepper. The silhouette you see is taken from a photo of her. I like the contrast of flowers and butterflies among a otherwise barren branch. I have always loved animals and nature and believed there is beauty to be found in everything ... all you need to do is look with your heart.
